Module 4: The Fuller Method (Part III) - Forward Movement

Objective

Teach mentors how to guide purpose-based action

The Fuller Method Step 5

Step 5: Forward Movement - This is where purpose becomes action. Help students identify micro-goals that align with their values and move them toward their larger aims. This isn't advice-giving—it's co-creation.

Three types of forward movement: Behavioral (take action), Cognitive (shift thinking), Relational (build connections).

Reflection Assignment

Describe a time when you turned insight into action. What made it work? How would you help a student create forward movement from their own reflections?
