National Competencies Aligned to Your 8-Week Guide
Three national standards — LCSW (CSWE 2022 EPAS), Public Health (CEPH 2021), and DrPH (DPH 808 + CEPH) — each mapped to specific weeks, video modules, and activities in the Voice Up learning system.

CSWE 2022 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS)
The nine CSWE 2022 EPAS competencies are the national standard for social work education. Every accredited MSW program in the country builds its field education around them. Voice Up maps each competency to a specific stretch of the 8-week guide, to video modules that bring the competency to life, and to the trilogy modules where the competency is practiced.
National standard — applies to every CSWE-accredited MSW program, not just one university.

9 Competencies — Click to Expand
Every competency, every week, and every video on this page is guided by the five Voice Up principles — collaboration, humility, precision, patience, and empathy. These are not just values. They are the practice standard your field education and practicum hours are built on.
New for the LCSW Track: AI in Clinical Social Work
The competencies above now sit next to a fast-moving practice question. Most LCSWs already use AI for notes and documentation, and states and licensing boards are setting the guardrails. Voice Up's research brief gathers the survey evidence, the state rules, and the grants and pilots open to the field.
