Every Voice Up Learning Module in One Place
Organized by the five core principles of Voice Up — Collaboration, Humility, Precision, Patience, and Empathy. Every module and internship connects back to purpose. Pick any to begin; your progress saves automatically.
Voice Up exists for one reason: to help people connect to purpose.
We do this in many different ways. These are the three ways Voice Up helps our community — and we do it every day.
Internships & Practicums
We run internships and practicums that give people real, hands-on experience connecting to purpose.
Creating Great Things
During those practicums, we help people actually create great things that get adopted by organizations.
A Developing Media Network
We are building a media network where we profile and highlight successful people doing great things throughout the world.
These are the ways Voice Up helps our community — and we do it every day.
Elevating Impact Through Purpose — One Conversation at a Time
Voice Up exists to elevate your impact and build community momentum through guided learning and purposeful action. We have discovered and are implementing a unique intervention with a demonstrated track record: helping people produce great things in the span of 8 weeks — things that help other communities. It works simply by having one conversation at a time throughout those 8 weeks.
Every module on this page is part of that same intervention. Each one provides a personalized 8-week guide for people who are seriously interested in a career transition or pursuing their first career pathway. Along the journey, they do not just fulfill the requirements of their academic course or career — they end up creating something that benefits others. That, in itself, improves their confidence and accelerates their belief in what they can achieve.
These are not presentations. These are real-world products — real-world things that people can use and do use, because they see the value in them.
One Conversation at a Time
The intervention is simple and human. Over 8 weeks, honest guided conversations help a person find their purpose and build something real.
8 Weeks to Something Great
8 weeks is not arbitrary. It is the time it takes to go from an idea to a real-world product that serves a community.
Confidence That Grows
When you create something that genuinely helps others, your confidence grows. It comes from real work, not from a certificate.
The Five Principles of Voice Up
Everything Voice Up has achieved to date — every module, every fellowship, every real-world product — is built on five principles. They are not slogans. They are the daily habits that make purpose real, make collaboration work, and make impact last.
Collaboration
All are Welcome. The journey towards purpose begins with others that allow you to be the true you.
Humility
We all have much to learn. We can learn and become better with each conversation.
Precision
All the Details Matter. The steps we overlook may be the ones that make us great. There is power in consistency in a collaborative community.
Patience
We All Need Forgiveness. We all make mistakes. The key is to learn from each and become better.
Empathy
We Must Understand Your Why. We help you set a goal to talk to new people every week and share the lessons you learn.
Why These Matter
These five principles are the reason Voice Up's 8-week intervention works. They are practiced in every conversation, every module, and every product. They are the foundation — and the proof is in what people build.

Spice of Jade — Advocating & Raising Unique Gems
A Voice Up Media Featured Story · DoD SkillBridge · Nonprofit Forming
Spice of Jade is a community built for children who are uniquely and wonderfully made — and for the families who love and advocate for them every day. Founded by Kierra Thompson, U.S. Army veteran and public health leader, from her own lived experience as a military mother raising a child with albinism. Kierra began as Voice Up’s first U.S. Armed Services intern under the Department of Defense SkillBridge initiative — a working professional transitioning from active duty into purpose-driven nonprofit work. Today Mother of Jade is a secured 501(c)(3) with a seated board, clinical advisors, and a weekly team meeting. It demonstrates Voice Up’s ability to connect with working professionals, support DoD Career Skill Bridge transitions, and help form nonprofits from lived experience. Every child is a gem — and no gem, and no family, goes unseen. Read the full featured story and complete the 7-Day Mini Sprint to practice the principles behind it.
